Application

Sunsafe-OS is a UVB filter. although octyl salicylate has a small UV absorption capacity, it is safer, less toxic, and inexpensive compared to most other sunscreens, so it is a type of UV absorber that people use more often Agent. (1) Sunsafe-OS is an effective UVB absorber with a UV absorbance (E 1% / 1cm) of min. 165 at 305nm for various applications

(2) It is used for products with low and – in combination with other UV filters – high sun protection factors

(3) Sunsafe-OS is an effective solubilizer for crystalline UV absorbers such as  MBC, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine

(4) Sunsafe-OS is oil soluble and can therefore be used in water-resistant sunscreens
